Ginnie McKnight is a published Visual Artist from Chicago, IL. For the past 10 years, she has made Baltimore, MD her home. When reflecting on her years of professional painting, there's one question each of her bodies of work provoke. How do you appear to the world, and respond to the world when you have been stripped down to nothing?Using Oil, Acrylic, and consistent hues of gold metallic paint on canvas; Ginnie McKnight's paintings explore this perspective with live audience, and studio paintings. 

Ginnie McKnight's published design work of the Harriet Tubman National Monument, for the National Park Service’s #SeeAmerica campaign, is one example of many characterizing the heart of her Visual Artistry. Ginnie McKnight provokes the politics of inclusion by keenly painting, and creating digital content designs that amplify the aesthetic of women of Color. Her paintings and Digital design work are a constant pursuit to make certain the unique stories of the vulnerable, or historically forgotten are told.
